The sponsored family members must meet certain eligibility requirements as well. They must be the parents or grandparents of the sponsor, and must not be inadmissible to Canada for any reason. They must also pass a medical exam and a security check.

Once the application is approved, the sponsored family members will be granted permanent resident status in Canada. This will allow them to live, work, and study in Canada. They will also be eligible for most social benefits that Canadian citizens are entitled to, such as health care coverage.

The Parent PR Sponsorship program is, all-in-all, an excellent way for Canadian citizens and permanent residents to reunite with their families and allow them to live together permanently in Canada. Please check to make sure that all eligibility requirements are met in order to ensure smooth application process.
